A Long-Term, Healthy Solution for Missing Teeth
Self-consciousness about smiling. Difficulty or discomfort while eating and chewing. A “sunken-in” facial appearance. If you are missing multiple teeth, you may be experiencing one or more of these symptoms. Though traditional dentures are still popular solutions for a full arch of missing teeth, more permanent solutions are now available and come with additional benefits not provided by dentures. We offer TeethXpress® full-arch dental implants and implant-supported dentures, long-term tooth replacement options that can help you regain your confidence and reestablish proper oral and nutritional health needed to sustain a beautiful, healthy smile.
The Benefits of Implant-Supported Solutions
If you are one of the millions of people who wear dentures or are looking for a more permanent solution to your tooth loss, implant-supported dentures are a beneficial option for multiple reasons. Dentures, or a full-arch prosthesis, that are stabilized by dental implants do not slip or click like traditional dentures commonly do when you eat or speak. The support that dental implants provide allows you to bite and chew most foods without fear of your dentures falling out. Implant-supported options also eliminate the need for messy pastes or adhesives. We provide the following full-arch solutions at our office:
TeethXpress® is a full arch protocol that utilizes four to six dental implants strategically placed in the jaw to accommodate areas of the jaw bone with the most volume. The dental implants fuse securely to the jaw onto which a denture is stabilized. TeethXpress can generally be completed in a single visit.
Combining dental implants and traditional dentures, implant-supported dentures can be a permanent solution to a full-arch of missing teeth. This solution lets the patient choose either a permanently fixed or removable denture, both of which can be snapped on and off for cleaning.
Improving Surgery Outcomes with 3D Imaging
We strive to provide dental services that improve our patient’s experiences through advanced training and the use of the latest dental technology. As a result, we utilize the cone beam CT scanner, a 3D full-face imaging software that captures high-quality digital images of oral structures, including the location of nerves and sinus cavities and height and width of the jaw bone. If we believe that bone levels are not significant enough to support dental implants, we may recommend bone grafting to help restore proper volume to the jaw. This and guided implant placement helps us place dental implants with greater precision and accuracy to help promote faster healing and a greater chance for your dental implants to be beneficial long-term.
